Academic Excellence Teacher Awards
The Academic Excellence Teacher Awards celebrates excellence in education by honoring all Terrebonne Parish Public School teachers. At this event the Inspirational Teacher of the Year and the Teachers of the Year for Elementary, Middle/Junior High and High School are publicly announced. The Teacher of the Year winners each receives $500 cash in addition to the Foundation keepsake award. The finalists each receive a $100 cash award.
The Inspirational nominees and teachers of the year from each of the 41 Terrebonne Parish Public Schools are also recognized for their accomplishments in the teaching profession.
